Abstract
La presente invención se dirige a un sistema y método de igualación de color automotriz que puede implementarse en un teléfono inteligente u otro dispositivo informático. El método comprende recibir al menos una imagen digital de un vehículo capturado por una cámara en comunicación con un procesador del dispositivo informático; analizar la imagen digital del vehículo para determinar la información del vehículo (p. ej., la marca, modelo y/o año modelo del vehículo); y determinar la información de color (p. ej., una fórmula de color para cada uno de los colores asociados con la información del vehículo). Un color de pintura final seleccionado de los colores en la información de color puede transmitirse a un dosificador o balanza para aplicar pintura al vehículo.
