Abstract

Una válvula cardíaca protésica incluye un armazón anular expandible que tiene un extremo de flujo de entrada, un extremo de flujo de salida, un interior, un exterior, una pluralidad de aberturas y un eje longitudinal; una pluralidad de miembros de soporte de comisura fuera del armazón; y una pluralidad de valvas de válvula cuadrilátera, cada una de las cuales tiene un cuerpo principal que tiene un borde de flujo de entrada y un borde de flujo de salida, y un par de lengüetas de valva opuestas que se extienden desde lados opuestos del cuerpo principal, cada lengüeta de valva está emparejada con una lengüeta de valva adyacente de una valva adyacente, cada par de lengüetas de valva se extienden a través de una abertura respectiva del armazón y se acoplan a uno de los soportes de comisura para formar un ensamble de lengüeta de comisura, en donde cada ensamble de lengüeta de comisura se encuentra en el exterior del armazón y el cuerpo principal de cada valva se encuentra en el interior del armazón.
