Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método (100) para geolocalizar una terminal (11) de un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica a partir de las mediciones de un parámetro representativo de una señal de radio intercambiada entre la terminal y las estaciones base de dicho sistema de comunicación. El método utiliza estaciones base fijas (12) y una estación base móvil (13) que se desplaza en un área de búsqueda determinada (20). Durante un período de búsqueda predefinido, la terminal emite varias señales de radio hacia las estaciones base fijas y la estación base móvil. A continuación, puede determinarse una posición geográfica precisa, por un lado, a partir de las mediciones realizadas durante el período de búsqueda para las diferentes estaciones base y, por otro lado, a partir de las posiciones geográficas de las estaciones base fijas y de las posiciones geográficas de la estación base móvil en los diferentes momentos de emisión de las señales de radio por la terminal.
