Abstract

La presente invención divulga una nueva bacteria productora de ácido láctico fructófilo, la cepa de Bacillus coagulans FF-7 (MTCC 25235) y el proceso de aislamiento y caracterización de la bacteria. La invención también describe las aplicaciones biológicas/uso terapéutico de las bacterias productoras de ácido láctico fructófilo en el aumento de la utilización de la fructosa de los alimentos y en el tratamiento de los trastornos relacionados con la ingesta elevada de fructosa.
