Abstract
Una herramienta de manejo de materiales que tiene un miembro de soporte, un imán, un control de imán, una fuente de alimentación y un acoplamiento de imán. El miembro de soporte se puede elaborar de dos o más porciones de miembro de soporte que permiten que se usen miembros de soporte intercambiables de diferentes longitudes a fin de ajustar la longitud de la herramienta de manejo de materiales. Los imanes usados con la herramienta de manejo de materiales también pueden ser intercambiables a fin de usar imanes de diferentes fuerzas. Se puede usar un acoplamiento de imán que proporciona movimiento angular y/o de rotación del imán con respecto al miembro de soporte. El imán puede ser un electroimán, que puede tener un campo magnético que se puede ajustar. Como tal, se puede usar un control de imán y/o fuente de alimentación para ajustar el campo magnético al encender o apagar el campo magnético o al ajustar la fuerza del campo magnético.
