Abstract
Se divulga un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye la codificación en un flujo de bits de una unidad de acceso (AU) de actualización de decodificación gradual (GDR) y un mensaje de información de mejora complementaria (SEI) de período de almacenamiento intermedio (BP) asociado con la GDR AU. Un decodificador hipotético de referencia (HRD) se inicializa con base en el mensaje BP SEI. Se realiza una prueba de conformidad de HRD en el flujo de bits usando el HRD. El flujo de bits se almacena para comunicación hacia un decodificador.
