Abstract

La presente memoria descriptiva da a conocer una planta con esterilidad masculina citoplasmática del género Lactuca, que tiene una capacidad de crecimiento a baja temperatura comparable a la de una planta del género Lactuca que tiene un citoplasma normal, o una progenie de la misma. Según una realización de la presente invención, es posible paliar la reducción de la capacidad de crecimiento a baja temperatura observada en plantas con EMC previas del género Lactuca y proporcionar una planta con EMC del género Lactuca que tiene capacidad de crecimiento a baja temperatura.
