Abstract

Un método de decodificación incluye la partición de un nodo de árbol de transformación (TTN) rectangular utilizando una división de árbol binario vertical o una división de árbol binario horizontal para generar TTNs hijos cuadrados cuando un tamaño de unidad de transformación (TU) máximo para el TTN es menor que cualquiera de las dimensiones del TTN. El método incluye además la partición de los TTNs hijos utilizando una división de árbol cuadrado para generar unidades de transformación (TUs) cuando la primera dimensión del TTN hijo y la segunda dimensión del TTN hijo son mayores que el tamaño máximo de la TU, determinando que los TTNs hijos son TUs cuando la primera dimensión del TTN hijo y la segunda dimensión del TTN hijo son menores o iguales al tamaño máximo de la TU, aplicando las TUs a los coeficientes de transformación para generar residuos, y generando un bloque reconstruido basado en los residuos.
