Abstract
Generar una señal de imagen comprende un receptor (401) que recibe imágenes fuente que representan una escena. Un generador de imágenes combinadas (403) genera imágenes combinadas a partir de las imágenes fuente. Cada imagen combinada se deriva solo de partes de al menos dos imágenes de las imágenes fuente. Un determinador (407) determina segmentos de las imágenes fuente que comprenden elementos para los cuales la medida de calidad de predicción es indicativa de una diferencia por encima de un umbral. Un generador de señal de imagen (409) genera una señal de imagen que comprende datos de imágenes que representan las imágenes combinadas y los segmentos de las imágenes fuente.
