Abstract
aparelho para gerar um sinal de imagem, sendo o aparelho, aparelho para receber um sinal de imagem, método para gerar um sinal de imagem, método para processar um sinal de imagem, sinal de imagem e produto de programa de computador. a presente invenção se refere à geração de um sinal de imagem que compreende um receptor (401) que recebe imagens de origem que representam uma cena. um gerador de imagens combinadas (403) gera imagens combinadas a partir das imagens de origem. cada imagem combinada é derivada apenas de partes de ao menos duas imagens das imagens de origem. um avaliador (405) determina medidas de qualidade de previsão para elementos das imagens de origem, sendo que a medida de qualidade de previsão para um elemento de uma primeira imagem de origem é indicativa de uma diferença entre valores de pixel na primeira imagem de origem e valores de pixel previstos para pixels no elemento. os valores de pixel previstos são valores de pixel resultantes da previsão de pixels a partir das imagens combinadas. um determinador (407) determina segmentos das imagens de origem que compreendem elementos para os quais a medida de qualidade de previsão é indicativa de uma diferença acima de um limite. um gerador de sinal de imagem (409) gera um sinal de imagem que compreende dados de imagem que representam as imagens combinadas e os segmentos das imagens de origem.
