Abstract

Un mecanismo de señalización de parámetros de cuantificación para contenido SDR y HDR en codificación de video se describe usando dos enfoques. El primer enfoque es enviar la tabla QpC definida por el usuario directamente en sintaxis de alto nivel. Esto conduce a un control de QP más flexible y eficiente para el desarrollo futuro del códec y codificación de contenido de video. El segundo enfoque es señalizar los QP de luma y croma de forma independiente. Este enfoque elimina la necesidad de tablas QpC y elimina la dependencia del parámetro de cuantificación de croma en QP de luma.
