Abstract
Los métodos y aparatos que proporcionan filtración para concentrar analitos, como bacterias o exosomas, de una muestra biológica, como sangre u orina. La tecnología puede emplear dispositivos de membrana que implementan uno o más procesos de filtración de flujo tangencial, como por ejemplo en etapas. Un ejemplo de dispositivo de membrana puede incluir típicamente una membrana que tiene lados y extremos. La membrana puede permitir selectivamente el paso de constituyentes de la muestra mientras retiene otros constituyentes en un lado. Una cámara de entrada del dispositivo puede incluir una entrada cerca de un extremo y una salida cerca del otro extremo, y puede permitir un flujo tangencial de la muestra a lo largo de la superficie del primer lado, y un paso transmembrana de constituyentes. Una cámara de salida del dispositivo puede estar configurada en la superficie del segundo lado para recibir los componentes que pasan.
