Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la construcción de ruedas Mecanum para un sistema de pintura operado por medio de robot. Las ruedas tienen características especiales en vista de las dificultades y esfuerzos de la ubicación en la cual se aplican. Han sido diseñadas para facilitar el movimiento del sistema de pintura en paredes verticales y horizontales y para evitar pérdidas de recubrimiento. Las ruedas Mecanum comprenden un conjunto de tapas que se utilizan para asegurar los rodillos. Los rodillos, los cuales están acomodados a 45° y tienen una forma convexa-cilíndrica, contienen cojinetes que pasan a través del eje central de los mismos y están diseñados con cojinetes de bolas en los extremos de los cojinetes. La base magnética está acomodada entre las dos ruedas, estando a una altura óptima de modo que ejerza una fuerza magnética sobre la superficie y pueda superar obstáculos. Las geometrías y materiales de las ruedas Mecanum se han diseñado para que sean inertes al recubrimiento.
