Abstract
Modalidades de la descripción proporcionan métodos y dispositivos para decodificar señales de video usando inter predicción. De conformidad con una modalidad de la descripción, un método para procesar una señal de video comprende construir una lista de imagen de referencia de una imagen actual en la señal de video y realizar una predicción para una imagen actual usando la lista de imagen de referencia, en donde construir la lista de imagen de referencia comprende, sí una primera entrada de la lista de imagen de referencia corresponde a una imagen de referencia a corto plazo (STRP), obtener una diferencia de conteo de orden de imagen (POC) entre una imagen relacionada con la primera entrada y otra imagen, y sí una segunda entrada de la lista de imagen de referencia corresponde a una imagen de referencia a largo plazo (LTRP), obtener un valor de módulo de POC de una imagen relacionada con la segunda entrada. Una lista de imagen de referencia para identificar una imagen puede ser generada en una manera simplificada y efectiva. De este modo, el desempeño de compresión puede ser incrementado y el tiempo de computación puede ser reducido.
