Abstract
Se describe un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye particionar una imagen en una pluralidad de mosaicos. Un grupo de mosaicos incluye un número de mosaicos. Una bandera también se codifica en un conjunto de parámetros de un flujo de bits. La bandera se establece a un primer valor cuando el grupo de mosaicos es un grupo de mosaicos de escaneo de trama y un segundo valor cuando el grupo de mosaicos es un grupo de mosaicos rectangulares.
