Abstract

Se divulga un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye recibir un flujo de bits que comprende un conjunto de capas de salida (OLS) y un conjunto de parámetros de video (VPS). El OLS incluye una o más capas de imágenes codificadas y el VPS incluye un código de identificación de modo OLS (ols_mode_idc) que especifica que para cada OLS, todas las capas en cada OLS son capas de salida. Las capas de salida se determinan con base en el ols_mode_idc en el VPS. Una imagen codificada de las capas de salida se decodifica para producir una imagen decodificada.
