Abstract
Se divulga un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye recibir un flujo de bits que comprende un conjunto de capas de salida (OLS) y un conjunto de parámetros de video (VPS). El OLS incluye una o más capas de imágenes codificadas y el VPS incluye un código de identificación de modo OLS (ols_mode_idc) que especifica que para cada OLS, todas las capas en cada OLS son capas de salida. Las capas de salida se determinan con base en el ols_mode_idc en el VPS. Una imagen codificada de las capas de salida se decodifica para producir una imagen decodificada. La imagen decodificada se reenvía para visualización como parte de una secuencia de video decodificada.
