Abstract

Se proporciona una sonda de ablación por radiofrecuencia enfriada para entregar energía eléctrica y térmica al tejido del cuerpo de un paciente. La sonda comprende un mango de sonda que tiene una porción superior, una porción inferior y un conector Luer. La sonda además comprende un ensamble de gorro de electrodos extendidos que se conecta con un extremo del mango, y un ensamble de cable-tubería que se conecta con otro extremo del mango. El ensamble de cable-tubería incluye un cable eléctrico que termina en un conector eléctrico y una tubería de fluido de lumen doble que termina en los conectores de fluido de entrada y salida. Una punta activa del ensamble de gorro de electrodos extendidos se configura para entregar la energía eléctrica y térmica al tejido del cuerpo del paciente.
