Abstract
Un método para tratar el tejido del cuerpo de un paciente incluye proporcionar una fuente de alimentación acoplada al menos a un ensamble de sonda. Asimismo, el método incluye hacer emerger el dispositivo de entrega de energía de al menos un ensamble de sonda por tejido del cuerpo de una paciente. El método simultáneamente también incluye poner en circulación el fluido de enfriamiento a través de uno o más lúmenes internos a través de al menos un ensamble de bomba y entregar energía al tejido a partir de una fuente de alimentación, a través del dispositivo de entrega de energía. Además, el método incluye monitorear uno o más parámetros de procedimiento al entregar la energía al tejido a partir de la fuente de alimentación y a través del dispositivo de entrega de energía. Además, el método incluye determinar en tiempo real si un evento de aumento de impedancia es probable que ocurra en un periodo de tiempo predeterminado con base en el uno o más parámetros de procedimiento. y determinar un comando para el ensamble de bomba con base en si el evento de aumento de impedancia es probable que ocurra en el periodo de tiempo predeterminado.
