Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema de cumplimiento de pedidos que incluye una estructura de sistema automatizado de almacenamiento y recuperación (ASRS, por sus siglas en inglés), vehículos robóticos, contenedores de almacenamiento y diferentes áreas de servicio en una disposición continua colocadas adyacentes a un perímetro exterior de la estructura de ASRS en uno o más niveles de servicio de la estructura de ASRS. Los vehículos robóticos son navegables dentro de la estructura de ASRS en los niveles de servicio ubicados por encima y/o por debajo de los niveles de almacenamiento de la estructura de ASRS. Los vehículos robóticos llevan los contenedores de almacenamiento dentro de la estructura de ASRS durante la transferencia de los contenedores de almacenamiento hacia y desde los ubicaciones de almacenamiento de la estructura de ASRS. Cada área de servicio incluye una o más estaciones de trabajo de un tipo configurado para una o más tareas diferentes de una o más estaciones de trabajo en otra área de servicio. Cada área de servicio recibe un depósito de los contenedores de almacenamiento y/o un recorrido de los contenedores de almacenamiento a través de cada área de servicio por los vehículos robóticos.
