Abstract
Se describe un método de filtrado de un líquido (2), tal como de aguas residuales. El método comprende la puesta en un ciclo del elemento de filtrado permeable de líquido a través del líquido por medio de lo cual, en una primera posición, el área de la primera cara del elemento de filtrado es sometida a un líquido bajo presión y la presión a través del elemento de filtrado es más grande que 0 y menor que o igual a 5.9 kPa (60 cmH2O), y, en una segunda posición, el área no es sometida a un líquido bajo presión o es sometida a un líquido a una presión más baja, y los sólidos acumulados en la primera cara del elemento de filtrado pueden removerse al dirigir al menos un chorro en la segunda cara del elemento de filtrado a través del elemento de filtrado hacia la primera cara. El elemento de filtrado tiene un tamaño de poro y el elemento de filtrado es puesto en un ciclo a una velocidad, de manera que el flujo de permeación esté entre 200 L/(m2h)-5. 000 L/(m2h) y que el espesor de una capa de sólidos acumulados cuando es removida esté entre 0 y 6 cm.
