Abstract
Un sistema y un método para aumentar la capacidad de refrigeración de un sistema de refrigeración de expansión directa que tiene un separador de vapor y un eyector de vapor. Tras el proceso de estrangulación en el dispositivo de expansión, la mezcla de líquido y vapor entra en el separador de entrada. El separador de vapor genera vapor para impulsar el eyector a través de la descarga del líquido refrigerante caliente desde una temperatura y presión más alta a una presión más baja. El líquido refrigerante más frío pasa entonces a la entrada del serpentín del evaporador. Además, el sistema estabiliza el recalentamiento del vapor de salida y reduce las fluctuaciones del recalentamiento de salida causadas por el exceso de líquido no evaporado que fluye desde las salidas de los tubos debido a una mala distribución en la entrada.
