Abstract
The present invention relates to the T-type shear connector, comprising a first (1) and a second quadrilateral plate (2) fixed perpendicularly and transversally by one of its sides in the middle part of the first quadrilateral plate (1). Also, it includes a floor system made up of metal elements (3, 4, and 6) and concrete slab (5), comprising at least one T-type shear connector as described above, to join the metal elements with the concrete slab (5), connecting the T-type shear connector from a lopsided position. Further, it relates to a method for building the floor system, comprising fixing unevenly, at least one T-type shear connector on the metallic elements (3 and 4) by a solid fixing part (7), and adding a concrete mix on top of the metal elements and the T-type shear connector.
