Abstract

En la presente se describen sistemas y métodos para mejorar detección de una señal de retorno en un sistema de detección y medición de alcance de luz (LiDAR). El procedimiento incluye los siguientes pasos en el sistema LiDAR: codificar y transmitir una secuencia de pulsos con base en una firma de usuario. Entonces, recibir una señal de múltiples retornos con base en un reflejo de objetos de las secuencias de pulsos. La señal de múltiples retornos se puede decodificar con base en la firma de usuario y luego autenticarse mediante un cálculo de correlación. La firma de usuario puede determinar una amplitud de un primer pulso en la secuencia de pulsos, una amplitud de un segundo pulso de la secuencia de pulsos y un intervalo entre el primer pulso y el segundo pulso. Una representación de bits de la firma de usuario es ortogonal a una representación de bits de otra firma de usuario de otro sistema LiDAR. La firma de usuario se puede ajustar dinámicamente mediante el sistema LiDAR.
