Abstract

The present invention relates to developing a tanning process with ecological properties free of chrome and restricted substances to obtain leather for the exotic cowboy boot tube. The said process uses oat skins as raw material, subjected to the tanning process using a combination of aluminum sulfate, sodium, and synthetic thiosulfate. The tanned leather is subjected to wet finishing using various tara/synthetic/resin/oils/dyes products to obtain a leather product free of chrome and restricted substances corresponding to it.
