Abstract
Un codificador (100) incluye una circuitería y una memoria acoplada a la circuitería. En la codificación, se codifica una señal que indica paridad que es un bit menos significativo del valor absoluto, el uso de un señalizador en la codificación de una porción del valor absoluto diferente del bit menos significativo se determina en función de una primera condición basada en un magnitud del valor absoluto y una segunda condición para limitar un número total de señalizadores usados en la unidad estructural, y el señalizador se codifica por medio de CABAC, que implica la actualización de una probabilidad de aparición del símbolo cuando se determina que se debe usar el señalizador.
