Abstract

Se describe un receptor que recibe y procesa una señal de radio recibida a través de un canal de radio de frecuencia selectiva desde un transmisor que emplea una pluralidad de antenas de transmisión. El receptor determina, con base en la señal recibida, coeficientes de precodificador complejos y retardos de los respectivos precodificadores de retardo espacial para cada capa y antena de transmisión en el transmisor para lograr una propiedad predefinida para una comunicación a través del canal de radio, cada precodificador que modela o define para la antena de transmisión asociada una pluralidad de filtros cíclicos que retardan y ponderan una señal que se va a transmitir con los retardos de precodificador y coeficientes de precodificador complejos correspondientes, respectivamente, y retroalimenta al transmisor los retardos determinados explícita o implícitamente y los coeficientes de precodificador complejos determinados explícita o implícitamente, el transmisor que precodifica las señales que se van a transmitir al receptor utilizando los retardos realimentados y los coeficientes de precodificador complejos.
