Abstract

Un sistema y método de control para un grupo de alimentadores interconectados que permite la localización de fallas, aislamiento y restauración de servicio sin requerir que cada interruptor tenga conocimiento de la topología de dispositivos en alimentadores adyacentes. El método define, para cada interruptor, conectividad e información direccional X/Y acerca de sus interruptores vecinos y propaga esta información a través de cada alimentador. También se determina un dispositivo líder para cada alimentador. No todos los dispositivos necesitan información acerca de la topología de alimentadores adyacentes. Solo los seccionadores normalmente abiertos que definen un límite entre dos alimentadores adyacentes tienen conocimiento de los dispositivos en ambos alimentadores. Los interruptores que se abren durante el aislamiento de fallas encuentran automáticamente seccionadores abiertos en una dirección opuesta a la falla y piden la restauración de servicio aguas abajo de la falla al proveer energía de un alimentador adyacente. Los dispositivos líderes garantizan que no se cree una condición de sobrecarga antes de iniciar las operaciones de apertura y cierre de los interruptores aguas abajo de la falla.
