Abstract

Un sistema de restauración de energía que comprende un alimentador, una pluralidad de fuentes de energía disponibles para proveer energía al alimentador, una pluralidad de dispositivos de reconexión normalmente cerrados acoplados eléctricamente a lo largo del alimentador, por lo menos un reconectador normalmente abierto acoplado eléctricamente al alimentador y una pluralidad de interruptores normalmente cerrados acoplados eléctricamente a lo largo del alimentador entre cada par adyacente de dispositivos de reconexión normalmente cerrados. A cada interruptor se le asigna un código de posición que tiene un valor para cada una de la pluralidad de fuentes de energía que determina cuándo se abrirá el interruptor en respuesta a la corriente de falla y de qué fuente de energía el interruptor está recibiendo energía actualmente, en donde el control de tiempo entre los dispositivos de reconexión y los interruptores permiten que el interruptor se abra selectivamente para aislar la falla en una sola sección de alimentación entre cada par de interruptores adyacentes o entre cada interruptor y un dispositivo de reconexión.
