Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aparato de indicación y método correspondiente para indicar el nivel de salida de una llama de encendido en un aparato de gas (11), provisto con un termopar (19) adecuado para convertir la energía generada por una llama de encendido, que recibe gas de una válvula de piloto (15), a un voltaje eléctrico para energizar una electroválvula (17) de la válvula de piloto (15) y mantener esta última abierta. El aparato comprende un primer (20a) y un segundo (20b) conectores adecuados para acoplarse con un terminal positivo (T1) y con un terminal negativo (T2) del termopar (19), un circuito de medición de voltaje (21) conectado al primer (20a) y al segundo (20b) conectores, un dispositivo de iluminación (22) configurado para proporcionar una señal de luz, un dispositivo controlador (23) acoplado con el circuito de medición de voltaje (21) y con el dispositivo de iluminación (22) y configurado para determinar el encendido del dispositivo de iluminación (22) con base en la salida suministrada por el circuito de medición de voltaje (21) para proporcionar a un usuario una indicación de cuando el voltaje generado por el termopar (19) es mayor o igual que un valor predefinido (Von) suficiente para energizar la electroválvula (17).
