Abstract
Para cambiar una propiedad de un líquido polar, se proporciona un dispositivo que comprende un generador de señales y un transductor adyacente al líquido o al menos parcialmente sumergido en el mismo. El generador de señales proporciona una señal eléctrica alterna al transductor, en donde la señal eléctrica es de una frecuencia y una amplitud para afectar al transductor para producir un campo magnético alterno que tiene una densidad de flujo magnético para cambiar la propiedad del líquido polar, en donde una porción del campo magnético penetra el líquido, que tiene un efecto en el mismo y que proporciona un cambio en la propiedad del líquido a una distancia de al menos 1 metro del transductor. La propiedad es una velocidad de intercambio de gas y el cambio es al menos 5%, o la propiedad es tensión superficial y el cambio es al menos 1%, o la propiedad es viscosidad y el cambio es al menos 0.5%.
