Abstract
The present invention relates to a clarifier/degasser for wastewater treatment bioreactors with multiple types of biomass and biofilm, comprising a circular arrangement of a plurality of corrugated sheets molded in a wavy shape fixed at one of their lateral edges along a section of a vertical central duct and spaced apart to define a body with a helical shape. Said upper edge includes a gas capture system recovering the biogas, avoiding the passage to other types of biomass or other floating fixed film media. Said system consists of a perforated body arranged on the upper edge that follows the corrugated shape and that only allows the passage of gas, but not from the bio-carriers present in the bioreactor. Said perforated body defines a collector tube connected to said central vertical duct for conducting gas to a storage unit or burner.
