Abstract

The present invention relates to a multi-media anaerobic bioreactor with a high biomass content and contact factor for wastewater treatment. Said system comprises a preferably cylindrical reactor body arranged in a vertical position, organizing the association of a) a concentric double-cone clarifier/degasser and flow redirector at the top consisting of a geometric arrangement of a double inducing cone with a perforated baffle, passing biogas avoiding the floating fixed-film media in the bioreactor. Also, it includes b) a high precision and efficiency recirculation system for the preservation of multi-density biomass and biofilm connected inferiorly to said clarifier/degasser and double concentric cone flow redirector from the start to (a) and c) a helical clarifier/degasser mounted externally in a central duct of recirculation of the system of item (b).
