Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona generalmente con métodos para limpiar plaguicidas residuales de un recipiente agrícola, y con kits y composiciones útiles para la práctica de tales métodos; por lo tanto, brevemente, la presente invención está dirigida a métodos de preparación de un tanque para usarse en conexión con un segundo plaguicida después del uso del tanque en conexión con un primer plaguicida; en varias modalidades, el primer plaguicida es un herbicida; el primero y segundo plaguicidas pueden ser el mismo plaguicida (por ejemplo, dicamba); en varias modalidades, el método comprende introducir una mezcla limpiadora en un tanque que contiene una cantidad residual de un primer pesticida; la mezcla limpiadora comprende (a) una fuente de iones de metales de transición, y (b) una fuente de peróxido de hidrógeno; opcionalmente, la solución limpiadora puede además comprender agua.
