Abstract
Se proporciona un codificador (100) que incluye: circuitería (160); y memoria (162), en donde la circuitería (160): determina qué modo se usa para realizar un proceso de predicción, entre modos que incluyen un primer modo en el cual se realiza el proceso de predicción con base en un vector de movimiento de cada bloque en un video y un segundo modo en el cual se realiza el proceso de predicción con base en un vector de movimiento de cada sub-bloque obtenido al dividir el bloque; cuando se realiza el proceso de predicción en el primer modo, determina si se realiza un proceso de corrección en una imagen de predicción que usa un gradiente espacial de valores de pixel en la imagen de predicción obtenida al realizar el proceso de predicción, y realiza el proceso de corrección cuando se determina realizar el proceso de corrección; y cuando se realiza el proceso de predicción en el segundo modo, no realiza el proceso de corrección.
