Abstract
Se proporciona un decodificador de video que implementa un agrupamiento mutuamente exclusivo de modos de codificación. El decodificador de video recibe datos para un bloque de pixeles que se decodifican como un bloque actual de una imagen actual de un video. Cuando un primer modo de codificación para el bloque actual se habilita, un segundo modo de codificación se deshabilita para el bloque actual, en donde el primer y segundo modos de codificación especifican diferentes métodos para calcular una inter-predicción para el bloque actual. El bloque actual se decodifica al utilizar una inter-predicción que se calcula de acuerdo con un modo de codificación habilitado.
