Abstract
An embodiment of the mixed powder for powder metallurgy according to the present invention consists mainly of an iron-based powder and contains a powder of one or more sulfides selected from among CaS, MnS, and MoS<sub>2</sub> and 0.005-0.025 mass% magnesium oxide powder, the magnesium oxide having an average particle diameter D50 of 0.5-5.0 μm.
