Abstract

Se describe un método para demostrar la eficacia de limpieza de un producto para el cuidado personal o un componente del mismo, el método comprende: (i) seleccionar una primera porción de un artículo poroso con capacidad para permitir que pase un gas a través de sus poros, en donde el artículo poroso está conectado a una fuente del gas y se sumerge en un líquido mientras que la fuente libera el gas que fluye fuera de los poros para generar burbujas de gas; (ii) tratar la primera porción del artículo poroso con contaminantes; (iii) tratar la primera porción del artículo poroso con el producto para el cuidado personal o el componente del mismo, en donde una segunda porción del artículo poroso se selecciona en el paso (i); la segunda porción también se trata con contaminantes en el paso (ii); y la segunda porción se trata con un producto comparativo o placebo en el paso (iii); y en donde después del paso (iii) el método comprende un paso (iv) de evaluar un cambio de la primera porción tratada con relación al artículo no tratado y/o con relación a la segunda porción tratada, el cambio es la cantidad de burbujas de gas liberadas del artículo poroso.
