Abstract

La presente invención está relacionada con un método de hibridación para la detección de ácidos nucleicos, el cual comprende las etapas de: a) extraer una muestra que contiene el material genético que se desea detectar, ya sea, DNA o RNA; b) unir partículas magnéticas a una cadena de oligonucleótidos sintéticos, en donde la superficie de dichas partículas magnéticas se encuentra recubierta con una proteína y dicha cadena de oligonucleótidos sintéticos se encuentran con un marcaje de unión, de tal manera que a la unión de la proteína con el oligonucleótido se le denomina reacción de funcionalización, obteniéndose en esta etapa partículas magnéticas funcionalizadas; c) incubar la muestra que contiene el material a detectar (ácidos nucleicos, ya sea, DNA o RNA) con una sonda de oligonucleótidos de cadena complementaria con un marcaje fluorescente, a esta reacción se le denomina reacción de competencia; y, d) hacer reaccionar las partículas magnéticas funcionalizadas obtenidas en la etapa b) con un par sonda-blanco obtenido en la etapa c), esta etapa se denomina como reacción de detección.
