Abstract

Un intercambiador de calor (1), en donde el haz de tubos paralelos doblados en U (2) está conectado a través de una conexión a un primer extremo, donde un primer sombrerete semiesférico (16) distribuye el primer fluido a los tubos (2) de la primera sección recta (9), y a un segundo extremo, en donde un segundo sombrerete semiesférico (16) recoge el primer fluido de los tubos (2) de la segunda sección recta (10), cada una de dichas conexiones siendo hechas por una placa tubular (11, 12) que está diseñada para soportar la diferencia entre la presión baja del segundo fluido dentro del espacio intercarcasa (5) y la presión alta del primer fluido dentro del respectivo sombrerete (16), en donde la placa tubular comprende una placa circular (12) que tiene un orificio circular central y en donde la placa tubular además comprende una carcasa semiesférica (11) ubicada sobre dicho orificio y conectada firmemente a dicha placa circular (12), de manera de producir una separación física entre el primer fluido y el segundo fluido.
