Abstract
Un producto y método para proporcionar plásticos para envases extruidos remediadores de oxígeno u otros de fase fundida para reducir daño ligado al oxígeno a alimentos, fármacos, u otras sustancias sensibles al oxígeno. El método para fabricar plásticos para envases incorporados de fase fundida remediadores de oxígeno y elementos de envasado generalmente incluye la adición de una combinación de compuestos administradora de oxígeno que restringe la migración de oxígeno y/o elimina la migración de oxígeno a través de la reacción con componentes del aditivo polimérico. Componentes secos permanecen inactivos hasta que la humedad del alimento empacado parcialmente licúa un componente de la fórmula para activar la oxidación de un metal en polvo u otro compuesto oxidante. Otros aditivos absorben y distribuyen humedad y facilitan el movimiento de electrones para oxidación mejorada.
