Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un aparato (I) y un método para alimentar una lechada de alimentación en un dispositivo para separar partículas de baja densidad desde la lechada de alimentación. El aparato (I) comprende un conducto (4, 6, 8) que tiene una entrada de lechada (3), una entrada de alimentación de gas (5), una pluralidad de tubos huecos (10) y una salida (7). Los tubos huecos (10) están configurados para combinar la lechada de alimentación de la entrada de lechada (3) y el gas de la entrada de alimentación de gas (5). Los tubos huecos (10) comprenden una sección porosa (16) para generar burbujas de tamaño sustancialmente uniforme en la lechada para adherirse a las partículas de baja densidad. La lechada fluye en tubos huecos alineados axialmente a medida que se introduce gas a través de las secciones porosas en la suspensión.
