Abstract

Se proporciona un compuesto de ácido del tracto gástrico (GTA) que tiene la estructura de la fórmula I, así como sales, ésteres, profármacos o derivados marcados de los mismos. Dichos compuestos de GTA se pueden utilizar para determinar los niveles de GTA de una muestra, para diagnosticar si un sujeto tiene o está en riesgo de desarrollar cáncer colorrectal o para aumentar los anticuerpos. Se describen anticuerpos, o fragmentos de los mismos, que se unen específicamente al GTA de la fórmula I, así como usos de dichos anticuerpos o fragmentos para determinar los niveles de GTA en una muestra o para diagnosticar si un sujeto padece o está en riesgo de desarrollar cáncer colorrectal. También se proporcionan kits que comprenden tales compuestos y/o anticuerpos de GTA. (ver Fórmula).
