Abstract
The present invention relates to a device for detecting an infectious agent characterized by comprising i) a female part with at least one slit and ii) a male part. Also, it relates to a kit for detecting an infectious agent characterized by including a) at least one detection fiber with a predetermined antibody for a predetermined infectious agent, b) at least one device for detecting an infectious agent, and a microplate with a plurality of wells. Herein, a solution within each well potentially comprises a biomarker related to a predetermined infectious agent coupling each device with one of the wells, thus immersing the detection fiber in the solution.
