Abstract

Suspensiones de beta-glucano fácilmente miscibles en agua y métodos para realizarlas y usarlas. Una suspensión de beta-glucano fácilmente miscible en agua incluye un beta-glucano y un fluido orgánico miscible en agua que comprende un alcohol, un éster alquílico de alfahidroxiácido, un éter alquílico de polialquilenglicol o una combinación de estos, en donde la suspensión es suficiente para que la mezcla con agua a una velocidad de cizallamiento de 40,000 s-1 o más forme una mezcla homogénea de la suspensión y el agua. La presente invención también proporciona métodos para dispersar la suspensión de beta-glucano miscible en agua en agua para formar mezclas homogéneas de la suspensión y el agua, métodos para tratar formaciones subterráneas con las mezclas homogéneas y métodos para realizar la suspensión.
