Abstract

Un aparato y método para incrementar la transferencia de masa de una sustancia de tratamiento en un líquido que fluye en un tubo en un régimen de flujo de tubo completo tiene un conducto de desviación que recibe una porción del líquido. La porción del líquido se mezcla con una sustancia de tratamiento y entonces se vuelve a introducir en el tubo en una ubicación corriente abajo a través de una estructura de inyección. Entre el conducto de desviación, en el lado corriente arriba, y la estructura de inyección en el lado corriente abajo, hay una pluralidad de álabes de flujo colocada circunferencialmente alrededor de una pared interna cilíndrica del tubo, donde cada álabe de flujo se extiende radialmente hacia dentro hacia un eje central del tubo, que se extiende en el flujo de corriente principal del líquido. Otra modalidad de la invención tiene una rejilla de flujo ubicada corriente abajo de la estructura de inyección.
