Abstract

Se describe un sistema para la gestión de servicios residuales. El sistema puede incluir un dispositivo de localización configurado para generar una señal que indica la ubicación de un vehículo de servicio en la calle, un dispositivo de comunicación y un controlador que está en comunicación con los dispositivos de localización y comunicación. El controlador puede estar configurado para determinar el lado de la calle en una primera ubicación de destino en donde actualmente el vehículo lleva a cabo el servicio y para determinar con base en la señal desde el dispositivo de localización la proximidad del vehículo de servicio a una segunda ubicación de destino en la que los servicios residuales se llevarán a cabo. La segunda ubicación de destino puede estar en el mismo lado de la calle que la primera ubicación de destino. El controlador también puede estar configurado para proporcionar automáticamente a un cliente a través del dispositivo de comunicación el tiempo estimado de llegada correspondiente a la segunda ubicación de destino con base en la proximidad.
