Abstract
Un aparato para realizar un procedimiento médico incluye un globo con un perfil variable. El globo incluye al menos una cámara inflable ocupada por un fluido, tal como aire, y sólidos, tal como bolsas en general esféricas. Cuando se infla la cámara, los sólidos se separan como resultado de su capacidad para moverse o fluir, pero cuando la cámara se evacua, se llegan a compactar los sólidos e impiden que la misma colapse completamente. El globo puede tener una pluralidad de cámaras inflables con sólidos en diferentes arreglos para lograr diferentes objetivos durante el procedimiento médico, tal como, por ejemplo, el despliegue de la endoprótesis. Por ejemplo, una cámara se puede expandir en tanto que la otra se restringe para alterar la geometría de globo, tal como para proporcionar fuerza enfocada o permitir la perfusión.
