Abstract
Un método para crear una junta soldada entre los extremos de dos rieles de acero, en donde los dos rieles de acero tienen una microestructura sustancialmente perlítica. El método incluye un primer paso de calentamiento, un paso de recalcado, un primer paso de enfriamiento y un segundo paso de calentamiento, y proporciona un medio para influenciar una microestructura y una dureza de una región austenítica de una zona afectada por el calor (HAZ) y/o un grado de ablandamiento en una región ablandada de una HAZ.
