Abstract
Un sistema de inspección automatizada de tiempo de preaviso (5) y un método para evaluar un tiempo de preaviso (45) en un paso a nivel de vías de ferrocarril (25) en cada ruta para un tren (30). El sistema de inspección automatizada de tiempo de preaviso (5) comprende un circuito de vía (12) configurado para activarse cuando el tren (30) ingresa al circuito de vía (12), un registrador de evento (17) configurado para registrar un primer tiempo de registro (35(1)) para la activación de un sistema de advertencia de cruce 815), una cámara (20) para detectar una primera indicación de detección de movimiento (40(1)) en una zona de detección de movimiento (10) de una cámara (20) si existiera algún movimiento y un circuito insular (22) para detectar una presencia del tren (30) a medida que el tren (30) ingresa a la isla (42). El registrador de evento (17) para registrar un tercer tiempo de registro (35(3)) para las indicaciones de cambio de posición cuando ocurran.
