Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones de asfalto resistentes al envejecimiento y métodos relacionados de preparación y aplicación de los mismos. Las composiciones de asfalto resistentes al envejecimiento pueden incluir un asfalto base con propiedades específicas combinadas con un aditivo de resistencia al envejecimiento, para producir composiciones de asfalto modificado que tienen un índice coloidal dentro del intervalo de aproximadamente 3.7 a aproximadamente 8.0, un contenido de saturados menor que aproximadamente 10 % en peso, y propiedades resistentes al envejecimiento medibles.
